Things I am and am NOT into today, the San Diego Comic Con '08 Edition
The previous, non-Con edition
Things I am into (as of 07-28-08):
1- I got to tell Brian Posehn in person how much I loved his book, The Last Christmas.
2- The above happened at the Mystery Science Theater 3000 20th Anniversary panel, hosted by
Patton Oswalt. The panel rocked, and Joel was there too!
3- Joanna Angel was there signing DVDs and such. I am pretty sure she loved me much more than Brett
or Sam.
4- I got a Con-only Big Lebowski figure and a Con-only Dexter bobblehead figure.
5- Triumph the Insult Comic Dog did a live intro at the TV Funhouse panel. Hysterical.
Things I am NOT into:
1- I waited over an hour to get into every panel that I actually made it into. I made it into about half the
panels I wanted to. My 'missed'-list includes - but is not limited to - panels for Dexter featuring Michael
C. Hall, the star of the show; the Halo panel; the Spaced panel featuring Simon Pegg, my hero; the
Ghosthunters panel featuring most of the main cast members; the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
panel, which I missed because it was at ten in the damn morning on Sunday, the worst time-slot ever;
and the Eureka panel, also featuring the main cast members.
2- I saw way, way too much naked Brett, Sam and/or Adam flesh. So horrible.
3- I got a wedgie so bad from Brett and Sam that my underwear was ripped totally off my body.
4- We stayed at the W Hotel, which is a giant hive of people I'd like to see hit by cars... at least the part
of that demographic that has money. Next year, we go back to the Marriot.
5- I have to wait another year to go back. Comic-Con '08, I had a blast.

You don't get to see Magic cards in the urinal at HOME do you?
